He confirmed that numerous family members will be interviewed,but stressed that “no one has been detained; no one is being questioned as a suspect.” The individual who initially reported the incident was present at the house, though their identity has not been released.

Rob Reiner enjoyed a five-decade-long career in Hollywood, first gaining prominence as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the iconic sitcom “All in the Family” from 1971 to 1979, alongside Carroll O’Connor. Chadbourne Avenue was closed to the public, with police cars stationed at both ends and a helicopter circling overhead.Officers briefly spoke with a young man who left the scene around 7:30 p.m. in a white Tesla, but he declined to comment to the media.
Councilmember Traci park,representing the Westside district including Brentwood,stated that the LAPD had increased patrols in the neighborhood “out of an abundance of caution.” She expressed “profound concern and sadness at the news coming out of Brentwood,” adding that her office is in close contact with the police department.
