The term “Pink Panther” has been buzzing around social media since Thursday. It refers to DFB star Robert Andrich. He dyed his hair before the quarter-finals.

National coach Julian Nagelsmann was asked about his midfielder’s new hairstyle at the matchday press conference on Thursday before the game against Spain. “I stay out of such topics,” Nagelsmann said at first, only to then add: “In the end, there are hairstyles that require a little more than others to deliver a top performance. You have to judge for yourself whether Robert is one of them.”
