Diodato recorded “The man behind the champion”, the soundtrack of the Roberto Baggio fiction “Il Divin Codino”, which will be available on Netflix from May 26th.

The former star of the Italian national team, one of the best footballers ever and winner of a Ballon d’Or, is an icon of courage and determination around the world. The myth of the Divin Codino continues to grow over the years and after having marked entire generations and influenced the sports universe in the nineties, it still manages to be a revolutionary example of discretion and humility, affecting its number 10 over time.
Diodato is the only Italian artist to have won in the same year, in addition to the Sanremo Festival and the aforementioned prizes, the David di Donatello 2020, the Nastri d’Argento 2020 and the Ciak d’Oro del public 2020 with the song “Che Vita Meravigliosa ”as“ Best Original Song ”, which entered the collective memory for being part of the soundtrack of the film“ La Dea Fortuna ”by Ferzan Özpetek. As the first musical artist in the history of the Venice International Film Festival, Diodato opened the Closing Ceremony of the 77th edition by performing live in one of the most famous pieces of his repertoire, “Ora”.
