He was considered a talent for comedy, an irreverent and unconventional “rebel genius”, loved by the public precisely for his ability to make people laugh, but also to move and excite, thanks to the characters he played on the big screen (from the alien Mork to Professor John Keating of “The fleeting moment”, from housekeeper Mrs. Doubtfire to Sean Maguire in “Will Hunting”, a role that earned him the Oscar in 1998 as best supporting actor) Robin Williams, late actor who died at 63 in 2014, who was born on this day in 1951 in Chicago (today he would have turned 70). The son of a Ford executive and model in the 1970s, he moved to New York to study acting at the prestigious Juilliard School. Among his schoolmates was the future Superman Christopher Reeve (he and Williams became great friends). But this is not the only curiosity about him.
