Rock paper scissors for a free throw!

by time news

Every once in a while football exposes situations that cause any soccer fan to say ‘I’ve never seen this’. Two St Johnstone players from Scotland credited the anecdotary before a free kick against Celtic, one of Scotland’s greats.

They are Cammy MacPherson and Graham Carey. They did not agree on solving the kicker and went to an old and universal method: Rock-paper-scissors with the right hand. On the first try, both went with scissors. There was repetition and there MacPherson won: he put paper and Carey scissors. So, he kicked the free kick into the wall…

Celtic won the game 4-1.
