The American company Rockstar Games published on YouTube channel first trailer for GTA VI. The release is scheduled for 2025. The previous version, Grand Theft Auto V, was released in 2013.

“Our trailer has been leaked online, so please watch the original on YouTube,” Rockstar Games said in a post on social media X. Two hours after its publication, the trailer had 6.7 million views.

In September 2022, Rockstar suffered a leak that resulted in an unfinished build of GTA VI being leaked online. Then Rockstar confirmed the leak and asked players to wait for official messages from the company. Bloomberg wrote that Rockstar planned to show the GTA VI trailer in December at one of the events.
