Rockstar Games released 39 new screenshots of GTA 6 on its official website on 5 November. The drop comes exactly two weeks before the game launches on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The images provide a detailed look at the game’s setting, Vice City and the state of Leonida.
Rockstar Reveals New Visuals of Vice City
The new imagery comes in a launch gallery showcasing different aspects of the game world. Some images feature the protagonists, Jason and Lucia, participating in criminal activities.
Notebookcheck noted that the collection includes views of bars and clubs filled with people. The screenshots also show characters previously unseen. Individual detail on faces and outfits in these portraits provides the clearest look yet at Rockstar’s version of the state.

The gallery displays different hairstyles for the character Jason. Notebookcheck reports these may relate to hair-growing mechanics similar to those found in Red Dead Redemption 2. These images show the environmental density of this version of Florida.
Players Must Manage Large Storage Requirements
The game requires approximately 212GB of free space for the 19 November release. This footprint may pose a challenge for certain hardware. On a 512GB Xbox Series S, the game would occupy more than half of the roughly 364GB typically available for games. Series S owners with several other large games installed will likely need to clear space before the pre-load date.
PlayStation 5 owners will be required to update their consoles to the latest firmware to play, according to Notebookcheck. The game is slated for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. While the exact level of enhancement for the PS5 Pro remains unconfirmed, players must prepare for these technical needs.

Rockstar Launches Global Marketing Campaign
Rockstar has utilized billboards, posters, massive murals, and branded vehicles globally. In Miami, the real-world city that Vice City is modeled after, the company has applied branding to the Miami Heat’s arena and rebranded local nightclubs. Bars in the city have also been seen pouring the game’s in-universe beers. A Vice City blimp has also been observed flying over the city.
A major promotional event titled A Night in Vice City
is scheduled for 18 November. This event occurs the night before the game arrives. It will center on an NBA game between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat will compete as the Vice City Heat while wearing GTA-themed jerseys on a new court.

The Series Ends a Long Wait
Grand Theft Auto VI represents the first new mainline entry in the series since Grand Theft Auto 5 was released in 2013.
