jpnn.comJAKARTA – Academic and political observer Rocky Gerung assessed that Bahlil Lahadalia’s speech about the Javanese Kings at the Golkar National Conference was considered unethical and considered all Javanese Kings to be cruel figures.

Rocky said Bahlil’s statement about not messing around with the King of Java because it could be a disaster, was as if he was analogizing President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as the cruel King of Java.

Because, Bahlil is currently in Jokowi’s administration. In fact, said Rocky, not all Javanese Kings are like that.

“And Bahlil must confirm that his government so far has been the government of a king,” said Rocky in a discussion held by INTEGRITY and CALS in Jakarta.

“Are all Javanese Kings as cruel as Jokowi? In Bahlil’s version, yes. The one who said that the Javanese king was cruel was Bahlil. Bahlil was the one who said that this Javanese King is dangerous, he can do anything, this is a cruel king,” continued Rocky.

In this case, Rocky emphasized that Bahlil did not understand the ethics related to the Javanese kingdom, because he considered that he had never studied and did not even know history, but he easily made statements about the Javanese king.

Previously, in his speech at the closing of the Golkar National Conference, Bahlil conveyed his message to party cadres to continue to support the government’s agenda.

Bahlil, who is also the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, then made a joke about the ‘King of Java’.

Political observer Rocky Gerung criticized Golkar General Chairman Bahlil Lahadahlia’s statement regarding the King of Java.
