A man suspected of being one of the authors of a rodeo inside a shopping center in the Nantes metropolitan area and whose video had been widely relayed and commented on, was arrested and imprisoned, announced the prosecution. from Nantes on Sunday.

Three two-wheelers on an escalator
On April 21, the authors of this rodeo filmed themselves in a shopping center in Orvault (Loire-Atlantique) and posted the video on the social network TikTok then broadcast by BFMTV.
In particular, we see three two-wheelers using an escalator in the Leclerc Grand Val shopping center. They then circulate in the shopping mall, skimming the shop windows in the middle of customers, before quickly leaving the premises by another exit.
This rodeo caused “a legitimate stir among traders and users”, underlined Renaud Gaudeul. An investigation was immediately opened by the prosecution. “Investigations are continuing” to find the other participants.
