Director General of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin on social networks commented on the EU ban on flights of Russian aircraft. He called the EU decision “an arrest of the fleet of Russian airlines” that did not have time to take off from the air harbors of the countries that are members of the EU.
Recall that earlier in the European Union they decided to close the airspace for Russian aircraft. According to Josep Borrell, no Russian aircraft will be able to land or take off from EU airfields.
“The key word in Borrell’s statement is “take off”. Now, virtually the entire fleet of Russian airlines that did not have time to leave the airports of the EU countries was arrested,” Rogozin said.
Earlier, Josep Borrell said that the EU decided to disconnect Russian banks from SWIFT.
