Rogozin denies lack of money for Zeus nuclear tug

by time news

Director General of the Roscosmos state corporation Dmitry Rogozin said that information about the lack of funds for the Zeus space nuclear tug project is not true. At the same time, Mr. Rogozin himself spoke about the lack of money for some projects, including Zeus, yesterday, on May 28.

“And, by the way, despite yesterday’s catchy headlines in the media, we have enough financial resources until 2024 to work on Zeus, so the “experts” should not be hysterical,” said the head of Roskosmos.

Recall that yesterday Dmitry Rogozin said that since most of the Central Bank’s assets abroad were frozen, it would be possible to print money to finance promising investment projects, including space ones. “The creation of a promising new manned system, the creation of the Zeus project is really advanced work, we now do not have enough funds for it,” he said.

Roskosmos expected to complete the first sample of the Zeus installation by 2030. In the same year, it was planned to carry out the first launch using this installation.
