Vampire Survivor adds more content to the surprisingly chubby game. Developer Pocle has shared the full patch notes on the game’s Steam page, and it includes new achievements, a new weapon, a new event scene, more music, and two terrifying new modes not for the faint of heart — one of which adds Twitch integration.
The reverse mode is exactly what it sounds like; The stage layout is now inverted. Players earn more money and have more luck, but enemies are also much more deadly with a splash increase of +200% max health and 5% max health every minute. For those truly dedicated, there is an endless mode that restarts enemy waves once the Reaper arrives naturally. Enemies are multiplying in greater numbers with more damage, which makes surviving more difficult.
Players can also put their purchases into the hands of Twitch chat. Twitch mode is available in the options menu; Type your Twitch channel name into the text box and connect, and you’ll be good to go. Viewers can choose the level of special decisions and orders such as revivals and secret events.
