Dubai: The excitement of the Asia Cup cricket tournament is rising to the sky. Team India will begin their Asia Cup test with a match against their arch-rivals Pakistan. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has scored the most runs for Team India in the Asia Cup. Sachin scored 971 runs in the tournament. Rohit Sharma is right behind Tendulkar with 883 runs. Virat Kohli is third with 766 runs. MS Dhoni is fourth with 690 runs and Shikhar Dhawan is fifth with 613 runs. If Dhoni is a retired player among them, Dhawan is not in the Asia Cup squad. So Rohit and Kohli have a golden opportunity to overtake Sachin. With the Asia Cup being held in T20 format, there is no doubt that Hitman is the most likely opener among them.
India’s matches in the Asia Cup will begin on August 28 with a match against Pakistan. The competition venue is Dubai. Kohli needs to return to form in the tournament. Virat Kohli has not scored a century in international cricket since November 2019. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is also not at the top of his form. But fans are hopeful that Rohit and Kohli will return to form and give India the Asia Cup title. The Indian cricket team also aims to avenge their loss to Pakistan in the last T20 World Cup.
