Mumbai | Rohit Sharma has been appointed as the ODI captain of the Indian cricket team. He will replace Virat Kohli as the ODI captain. The BCCI has appointed Ajinkya Rahane to replace him as Test vice-captain. Rohit Sharma was appointed captain of the T20 team last month.
Kohli will now have only the position of Test captain. Kohli has announced that he will step down as T20 captain at the end of the ICC World Cup. The national cricket team has undergone a drastic change ahead of the tour of South Africa.
