Roi Hakochavi has been appointed VP of Trade for the Dor Alon Group

Roi Hakochavi (43), married +4, who has so far served as VP of sales for energy activities at Dor Alon, has been appointed VP of Trade for the Dor Alon Group. The star, who has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and communications, has previously managed sales and trade arrays at leading global companies such as Osem Trade (Nestle) and Kimberly-Clark.

As part of his new role, Roy Hakochavi will manage all of the group’s trade activities in the various formats – Super Alonit, Super Alonit mini stores, convenience stores and the municipal supermarket chain am:pm.

The star will replace Eli Gidor, who has completed over three years as the group’s VP of Commerce and Writers’ Director and recently sought to terminate his position due to a sense of accomplishment and a desire to take on new, professional and public challenges. And innovative, introducing leading brands and implementing retail innovations in all stores.

Dor Alon’s CEO, Oded Golan, congratulated Kochavi on his appointment and noted that Roi has extensive experience in the worlds of trade, marketing and sales: “I am confident that he will also be able to utilize his proven capabilities and rich retail experience in both the organized and private markets, to continue the growth of Dor Alon’s retail brands and establish them as a significant factor – even in the face of growing competition in the field and more international retail brands.”

Golan thanked Eli Gidor for his important contribution to the development of the retail activity in the Dor Alon Group and for his fruitful professional work.
