Through a letter, the mayor-elect of Cuauhtémoc, Alessandra Rojo de la Vega He expressed his willingness to work in coordination between the three levels of government, with Clara Brugada and Claudia Sheinbaum.

This morning, Rojo de la Vega attended the office of the elected head of government, Clara Brugada, to deliver a letter in which she expressed her willingness to coordinate, cooperate and maintain a fluid dialogue for the benefit of the residents of the municipality.

“We came to deliver a letter to the offices of the elected head of government, to show all the willingness and desire we have to coordinate, because that is what the residents are asking for, to have 100 percent cooperation. I expressed it to her in person, all the problems we have and how we should work together,” he explained to the media.

The letter was accepted and signed by the team of the next mayor of the capital for its eventual delivery. “They will send it to her, they were very willing, which is appreciated. The idea is that we have the best government that the mayor’s office has had and for that we have to coordinate with the three levels of government,” he said.

In the text addressed to the leaders, the elected mayor of Cuauhtémoc recognized insecurity and extortion as the main problems to be solved in the district.

“In the Cuauhtémoc Municipality there is a complex system of extortion, protectionist fees and persecution of merchants at all levels. From the most humble to the most prestigious companies that inhabit the district,” it reads.

Finally, when questioned about the challenge to the election in the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF), Rojo de la Vega hoped “that the superior chamber will resolve legally, we are very respectful of the institutions.”
