34 injured after roller coaster crashes at Legoland park in Germany

Two roller coaster trains collided at the Legoland park in Gunsburg, Bavaria, southern Germany on Thursday. At least 34 people were reportedly injured. No casualties have been reported so far.

According to the German news agency dpa, it was reported that a roller coaster train braked hard, causing another train to crash into it. However, the details of how the incident took place are not clear.

Fire and rescue services have been called to the scene and three helicopters have been dispatched to assist in the rescue operation.

It is said to be the second accident involving rollercoasters in Germany in recent days.

Last week, a 57-year-old woman died from her injuries after falling from a moving roller coaster at an amusement park in Glotten, southwest Germany.
