Benfica beat Sporting 6-1, at Pavilhão da Luz, in the 17th round of the Placard roller hockey championship. Carlos Nicolía, with three goals, was the star of the derby.
The Reds opened the scoring at 5′, precisely through Nicolia, who would add two more to her account (23′ and 24′). Still in the first half, Nil Roca (7′) and Pablo Álvarez (24′) also scored, leaving the score at 5-0 at half-time. In the second half, Roberto Di Benedetto increased the Eagles’ advantage (29′), with Gonzalo Romero reducing it in the 33rd minute.
