Romania’s Bianca Perie-Ghelber wins hammer final

Romania’s Bianca Perie-Ghelber won the women’s hammer final at the European Athletics Championships on Wednesday evening in Munich (Germany), ahead of Poland’s Ewa Rozanska and Italy’s Sara Fantini. Ghelber threw 72.72m on her sixth and final attempt, while Rozanska broke her personal best (72.12m). Fantini couldn’t do better than 71.58m and therefore completed the podium.
