Rome writes to Lega: “Why am I postponing Juve-Napoli?”

Rome, March 13 (time.news)

Roma wrote a letter to the Serie A football league to ask for clarification on the “reasons of sporting interest” that led to the displacement of the match between Juventus and Napoli.

According to Roma, the move is devoid of “adequate justification”, an “unmotivated” choice except to favor the Napoli calendar. Roma also adds, according to what time.news learns, that “requests for postponement must be submitted at least 15 days before the match. We ask you to know when the request was made and if you received it within the time allowed by the regulations” . Roma also asked for the “postponement of Rome-Naples” scheduled for March 21 at the Olympic stadium.

Yesterday the League ordered the postponement of Juventus-Napoli to Wednesday 7 April, starting at 6.45 pm. The match, originally scheduled for October 4th, was initially postponed to March 17th. The race in autumn was not held due to the lack of presence of the Neapolitan team in Turin for 2 covid cases in the team group. The 3-0 decided by the sports judge was not confirmed during the proceedings and the match was rescheduled.
