Romeo Beckham, son of David and Victoria Beckham, has decided to leave football to focus on a career in the fashion world, just like his mother. The 22-year-old is thus departing from Brentford.
“Romeo has decided to hang up his boots and dedicate his time to his fashion career. He loved his time at Brentford, but he needs to concentrate his attention on fashion, which is his true passion,” said a source close to the newspaper The Sun.
It was when he was just two years old that Romeo participated in his first advertising campaign, as a model for Burberry, a famous luxury brand. Now, he hopes to work with some of the big brands in Paris, France, having already signed a contract with a modeling agency.
The Beckham son has previously done work for Puma and Yves Saint Laurent and was even the cover model for L’Uomo Vogue in 2021. This is not the first time Romeo has decided to leave a football career. In 2015, he was released by Arsenal and shifted his focus to a career in tennis.
