Ron Shahar about life after the race for a million

by time news

Just before the country was on fire and everyone went out to demonstrate in the streets, the local swamp was still running with a particularly tight schedule of launches and events. On Sunday, a second before the farm was shut down, the launch of the new perfume “GENTLEMAN SOCIETY” from GIVENCHY, The survivors came to her Alit Musayouf, Omar Dror, Oshri Cohen, Tom Baum andDana Zermon. Among them all, stood out in particular Ron Shahar, who officially received the news about two weeks ago that he will no longer lead the race for a million and that his place will be filled Yehuda Levi.

TMI caught up with the host and the actor to talk about life after the reality show he had for the past decade, the political situation that has escalated in the country and also, what about his love life?

We are at the launch event of Givenchy’s new perfume, you seem to me to meet all the criteria of a presenter of the brand. Maybe we will sew together here, what do you say?
“They have a presenter, don’t they? If not, we can do a joint venture. I’d be happy.” But the world, not now Givenchy Tel Aviv.”

Oh you’re already running tall.
“For me, everything is world-wide, world-wide.”

good how are you? You’ve had a few very stormy weeks in the media.
“I’m really fine.”

I guess you’ve been getting reactions from all directions lately about the race for a million.
“Great reactions. Really surprising.”

Did you manage to digest everything that happened? That it ended and everyone made headlines with it. how was it for you
“I think I’m still in that stage of still occasionally, ‘I know there are preparations for the season, and when I’m called to pre..'”

Is there a ritual that you are used to doing and it comes naturally to you?
“Sure. You get to the building and start watching auditions, and start getting to know the couples a little. All kinds of things that… start connecting with people.”

And it’s missing a bit.
“There is nothing to do. It is what it is.”

Take me to the moment you realized that options for another moderator are being checked. How did you feel about that?
“They told me that they are checking options. They want to make everything new. There is nothing you can do with it too much.”

How were the feelings? anger? disappointment? understanding?
“Perhaps a disappointment. Perhaps I had hope that they would come and say, ‘Okay, we’ve done the tour and there’s nothing like home.'”

It was officially announced that Yehuda Levy is the new moderator. Did you get to talk since then?
“Not yet. He hasn’t contacted me. Good luck to him.”

Do you think if he approaches you, you will talk to him? are you ok with that
“What do you mean, what is he guilty of? If it was the other way around, I wouldn’t be leading the race for a million? That’s why I have no claim against him.”

By the way is he a good choice in your opinion? If not you, then Yehuda Levy?
“I don’t know. He’s a great player. I don’t know, I have no idea.”

There is also the network alternative, “Peking Express” which has gone out for filming. Have you thought about it? Is this something that crossed your mind?
“If I thought about it? I thought about it. Everything that is photographed abroad I will think about it. Also a food plan. Anything that has abroad in it. If you are making a program that is filmed abroad, in the craziest places in the world – take me. I love”.

Do you want another reality show? Do you think you will host a reality show again or is this an episode that was and is over and if not the race then that’s it?
“If something good comes along that I like, that speaks to me, that fits my character, then yes. The race is something that is in my nature. Airports, the middle of the night, jet lag, that’s me.”

There’s no getting away from the political situation, it’s pretty hot out there. Where are you in terms of expressing a position on the networks? With against?
“I’m not a political person. I’m more interested in society, our society. And our society is in the worst state I think since I can remember in the last 20-30 years. Such division, so much anger. On social media I see how people react to people. Zero tolerance, zero free love. Everything became very violent, violent. Violent. You know, once if I’m not mistaken, a Tunisian leader said at a conference of Arab countries – “Guys leave them, let them, they will do the job for us”. And I feel like we’re pretty much meeting his expectations now, and I don’t want that to happen.

A lot of stars say lately that they don’t want to express a political position because they don’t want to receive hateful messages and curses for their children. Is that something you also think about before you say something?
“No, it’s not something I’m interested in. Once again, I’m not a political person, I’m not interested in politics, I don’t believe in it. For me, politics is the art of lying. “Come, I’ll tell you as many stories as possible, and bore you with as many lies as possible, but It will be with a very serious expression and you will also believe me.” For me, this is politics in most cases. That’s why I don’t get into it. If it’s one in the mouth, one in the heart, it doesn’t interest me.”

Well, I don’t mean to be rude, but you are by far one of the hottest bachelors around. Can deny and can not, but how is the single life?
“A. It’s very flattering to me, one of the hottest bachelors in the swamp, at my extreme age.”

Come take a short tour and see what you are worried about.
“Really? Ok, so what does that mean? It means I’m free and want a relationship.”

Is there someone alive or are you currently completely single?
“Right now I only have Hila and Maya.”

So for the sake of our viewers, what should a girl do to win Ron Shahar’s heart?
“Wanting me, not needing me.”
