RIYADH: Star player Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) has been signed to play for Al Nasser Football Club of Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo signed for England’s Manchester United in 2003, Real Madrid in 2009, and Juventus in 2018. He re-joined Manchester United last year but ended his contract due to disagreements with management.

Although Qatar did not perform as well as expected in the World Cup, the mouse for him did not decrease a bit. While the world’s top clubs are vying to sign Ronaldo (37 years old), Saudi Arabia’s Al Nasser Club has signed him for two and a half years. It has been reported that Ronaldo will be paid an annual salary of Rs 1,770 crore and will be the coach of the Saudi team after the deal is completed.
