Ronaldo gone, now United can escape: former star
Just before the Qatar World Cup, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United. The star’s departure from United came after an interview with renowned journalist and news anchor Piers Morgan.

But former England star and Mirror columnist Stan Collymore has come forward to say that Cristiano not being at the club will benefit United’s future. He said that with the departure of the player, United’s problems are over.
Collymore added that Cristiano Ronaldo has been United’s headache for the past few months and Erik ten Haag will no longer have to listen to questions about Ronaldo.
The actor returned to Manchester in 2021. For Cristiano, who rose to world-class status under Sir Alex Ferguson, United gave him days to forget in his second run.
Ronaldo also faced widespread criticism after leaving the ground before the end of the game against Tottenham in the Premier League.
