## Cristiano Ronaldo Thinks the Saudi League is More Competitive than the French League

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese star, considers the Saudi League to be “more competitive” than its French counterpart. He made this statement during the “Globe Soccer” Awards in Abu Dhabi.
“Honestly, I don’t think the Saudi league is less valuable than the French league. I think it’s more competitive,” Ronaldo said on Friday when asked about the level of the Saudi league. ”They can say whatever they want (critics of big transfers to the Saudi league). This is just my opinion and I played here for a year, so I know what I’m talking about. I think we are now better than the French league and we continue to improve,” added the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Saudi league clubs have recently spent huge amounts of money to attract big stars, including Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Neymar, Riyad Mahrez, and Sadio Mane.
