According to the agreement led by the Ministry of Construction and Housing, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of the Interior, during the years 2022-2024, about 5,200 housing units as well as commercial and employment areas will be marketed in the Bnei Ish local council, as part of the valid Tamel/1079 plan.
The Bnei Ish roof agreement is expected to quadruple the number of residents in the council, an unprecedented ratio in roof agreements. Accordingly, a unique cooperation outline was drawn up between the local council, the Ministry of Construction and Housing, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Finance, which ensures the process of organizational development and the absorption of residents in the council, and produces unique resources for the council to create economic balance and profitable assets.
The total budget of the agreement amounts to about 1.7 billion NIS, of which about 1.5 billion NIS is for infrastructure development works, and the balance for public institutions and old infrastructures (“old versus new”).
