Ever since Shakira launched her famous tetralogy of spite –a session with Bizarrap included–, Miley Cyrus has contributed her grain of sand, although singing more about self-love with Flowers and Karol G joined the one from Barranquilla to seal their joint revenge in TQG; Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro have chosen to vindicate their love with RR. A joint LP made up of three songs with which they immortalize her feelings: Kiss, Vampires y Promise.

At the moment they have only shared the video clip of the first one, for which they have used images recorded with their own mobile phones since they began their romantic relationship more than three years ago. As the Catalan singer revealed in an interview, they understand the themes “as phases of love”, in such a way that one of them “has more to do with the past, another with the present and another with the future”.
The record work works like a journey that invites you to join your emotions and sensuality, and that does not cloy. She falls in love with her for the mischief, complicity and aftertaste ‘enjoyment’ of her.
‘Kiss’
“Now I need another kiss. One of those that you give me’ / Being away from you is hell. Being close to you is my peace / And it is that I always love when you arrive and I hate when you leave / I go with you to kill. Don’t leave me alone, where are you going? Where are you going? ”, Says the chorus of the first song of his record work, which is based on a reggaeton base.
The video clip, made up of a large set of images of the duet in different corners of the world and everyday situations such as waxing at home or kissing in bed, has a surprising ending. Once the music ends, Rosalía appears alone looking at the camera, showing her left hand with a ring on the angular finger. “Oh Lord! And all the mascara here smeared ”, she expresses excitedly before looking to the side, where Rauw Alejandro appears. “I love you,” she tells him before melting into one last kiss. An image that her fans have not been slow to identify as her request for her hand.
‘Vampires’
The second and powerful song is Vampires, that is called to sound –and a lot– in the discos, that reminds the Just in case from the Catalan “A good perreo”, as Rosalía defined the topic that alludes to her joint nightlife. “We’ have’ the street turned on’. / We went out at night, we arrived ‘by day / My baby close to me, my baby close to me / It never really mattered what anyone said ”, they claim in her lyrics.
In its beginning, Rauw Alejandro refers to the ballad Hentai by Rosalía, which was part of her album Motomami, which talked about making love. “Fall in love’ with your gun, red poppy / Crash, that wave. It almost controls me”, intoned the Catalan. In the new title, Rauw Alejandro begins using the same metaphors: “My gun doesn’t have a safety, it shoots itself / It’s from Barcelona, but it’s in carola / She’s not a follower. She is the wave.”
‘Promise’
“I will keep my promise, the one I told you that day / The night was clear, it wasn’t raining. Your eyes stole the water from the sea / Even if it’s a long stretch with your smile I charge. The strength, the sorrows by your side do not fit me. Your current takes everything away”, starts singing Rauw Alejandro in the bolero Promise. A genre that the Puerto Rican had not explored to date.
“If the fall is free. It doesn’t matter how it starts, it’s how it ends / It’s just that you are crazy like me. The heart weighs more than reason ”, she claims in his chorus. Rosalía joins in the second stanza, in which she assures: “A promise is never to look back”.
