Rosaviatsia issued admissions for flights to Egypt to six more airlines

by time news

On August 17, Rosaviatsia published an order to issue more than 200 permits for regular flights from Russian regions to the Egyptian resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh to six more airlines – Royal Flight, iFly, Yamal, Azimut, Red Wings and NordStar. Earlier, Aeroflot and its subsidiary low-cost airline Pobeda, S7 (all for flights from Moscow), as well as Russia, Ural Airlines, Smartavia, Nordwind and AZUR air from the regions have already received admissions to Egyptian destinations.

At the same time, the new quotas issued by the headquarters since August 27 are clearly not enough for all carriers. On August 16, the headquarters determining the possibility of flights to Egypt announced that from the end of August it will increase the number of flights from Moscow to Egypt from five per week in each direction to 15. Flights will be opened from 34 regional airports, from which international flights have been resumed. These are, for example, St. Petersburg, Zhukovsky near Moscow, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Voronezh, Grozny, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, etc. Now the airlines that have received admissions will wait for the Rosaviatsia to issue a flight permit. “The permit will be issued before the start of the new flight dates [27 августа] taking into account the latest decision of the headquarters, “- said the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
