Volgograd Airport is operating normally. Restrictions on air traffic management have been lifted since March 2.
“I am informing you about the normal operation of the Volgograd airfield. Restrictions on the organization of air traffic in the airfield area have been lifted since March 2, ”the text of the telegram says (quoted by TASS).
On February 24, Russia closed part of the sky on the western border with Ukraine and Belarus, the restrictions are valid until March 8. On the same day, 12 airports suspended operations until March 2. This is due to the increased danger of flights – since February 24, a Russian military special operation has been taking place in Ukraine.
