Roscosmos intends to create a federal consumer center for the GLONASS navigation satellite system in the interests of civil users by 2031

As stated in the materials of the state corporation posted on the public procurement website, they plan to spend 1.2 billion rubles for these purposes.

It is noted that Roskosmos intends to develop, create and test a model of the multifunctional federal consumer center GLONASS for civilian users.

The necessary work is planned to be completed by November 15, 2030, 1.23 billion rubles will be allocated for them.

The center will provide civilian users, including those abroad, with information on the current or projected state of GLONASS, as well as other navigation systems. They will be able to determine the orbits of civil satellites, assess the consumer characteristics of navigation equipment and control the jamming environment.

Currently, the orbital constellation of the Russian global navigation satellite system GLONASS consists of 27 spacecraft.
