Rostelecom is looking for a partner who will expand the system of interaction between the operator’s HR service and employees, as well as its technical support, follows from the tender documentation published on the public procurement website. The starting price of the tender is just over 9 million rubles. Rostelecom plans to sum up its results in early July, it says. The platform using artificial intelligence should reduce the number of requests that HR services now have to process manually, the most frequently asked questions will be answered by artificial intelligence, it follows from the terms of reference.

Among such questions: “How many days of vacation I have left”, “Can I move them”, “Can I get a pay slip”, etc., are examples of Nikita Cherkasenko, director of the HRM-technologies and analytics department of Rostelecom. According to him, the winner of the competition will have to deal with scaling the system to all divisions of the operator, which employs more than 100,000 people: “Since the end of last year, the system has been tested in one of the company’s branches. Experience has shown that standard questions are about half of the calls to the HR department, and a machine learning system can answer them without the help of live employees. However, if the employee’s answer is not satisfactory, the employee of the HR department will deal with the issue ”.
