Fourteen were the girls whom the members of the Rotary Club of Santa Ana benefited this morning with prescription lenses, after consulting with the renowned ophthalmologists, Dr. Pedro Rivas Cañas, a member of the Club, and Dr. Marvin Molina, always willing to collaborate unconditionally. to help those who need it
This and other aid is managed through the Avenue of Community Service and Service Projects, led by Mario Trujillo and supported by the other members.
This is the third year that a delivery of glasses has been made to the girls of the Moraga Home, who thanked its president María Jose, Mario Trujillo, Director of the Avenue; Mario Saade as Vice President and Dr. Somoza, who supported the visit.
It was a beautiful event, full of laughter and gratitude from the inmates and a feeling of satisfaction from the donors.
“We always try to help communities and we like doing what we do,” said Trujillo, who has been a Rotarian for 31 years.
Next Sunday the 17th, a visit will be made to the community of Mojón, near Camones, who will benefit from a mega drinking water project to learn about the needs of the community and try to solve them. This is one of the projects that were pending during the pandemic and that has now been resumed.
