Round of appointments at Discount: Barak Nardi will lead the management of the subsidiaries

The Board of Directors of Discount Bank, headed by Shaul Kobrinsky, today (Tuesday) approved a series of appointments in the Bank’s management and changes in the structure of the Bank’s divisions.

As part of the changes the name of the Planning, Strategy and Finance Division will now be the Strategy, Finance and Holdings Division. Barak Nardi, who heads the division, will now also lead the management of the group’s holdings, which include the subsidiaries ICC, Mercantile, Discount New York, Discount Capital and Facebook. Nardi will now also manage the business development and innovation at the bank.

Orit Caspi, Head of the Human Resources Division, pictured as Head of the Bank’s Risk Management Division and Chief Risk Officer, replacing Avi Levy, who was recently appointed Head of the Banking Division. Caspi joined the bank in 2000 and has since served in a variety of senior business positions in the business division and the banking division.

Adv. Hagit Meirovich, the Chief Legal Adviser and Head of the Legal Advice Division, pictured the head of the Human Resources Division.

Adv. Nitzan Sandor is a photo for Discount’s Chief Legal Adviser and Head of the Legal Advice Division. Sandor joins Discount’s management after about 18 years in the law firm of Adv.

Adv. Etty Deutsch will terminate her membership in the Bank’s management at her request and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mercantile Bank and Chairman of ICC.

Idan Engel, Head of the Digital, Data and Innovation Division, will now lead the Marketing Division and the Customer Experience Division in his division. Discount explained that the move will enable the continued application of a leading customer experience while leveraging the connection between the advanced capabilities in the fields of digital, data and marketing. The division’s name will be changed to the Digital, Data and Marketing Division.

Assaf Eldar, Head of the Operations and Properties Division, will lead the field of operational and banking excellence, across the organization. For this purpose, a new division will be established in the division, the Products and Processes Division, which will be entrusted with promoting banking excellence moves and improving processes at the Bank.

Discount Group CEO Uri Levin said on the occasion of the appointments that they will allow the bank to continue to promote the multi-year strategy and achieve the goals the bank has set for itself.
