Being officially named the principal dancer in front of an audience during a performance of Paquita made it even more special.This role is not just a title for me; it’s a recognition of my journey from a young student to a professional dancer. I felt a mix of pride and gratitude as I looked back at all the hard work and dedication it took to get here.

Roxane Stojanov: Every dancer faces challenges, whether it’s the physical demands, the rigorous training, or the intense competition in the industry. Early in my career, I faced injuries that tested my resolve. I learned the importance of resilience, listening to my body, and maintaining a strong mental attitude. Each setback pushed me to become a better artist and dancer. It’s about persistence and believing in yourself, no matter how tough things get.

It’s essential to keep learning and adapting. Also,I encourage young dancers to find their unique voice in dance. This industry is vast, and your individuality can set you apart. I am excited about bringing my character’s journey to life with my fellow dancers. The performances at Palais Garnier will be equally thrilling, with a new production that aims to captivate the audience’s hearts. It’s an honor to share this experience with our audience, and I hope they feel the passion we pour into our art.
