Royal Canin Korea announced on the 9th that Jae-yeon Lee, Executive Director of Brand Marketing and Retail Sales, has been appointed as the new CEO.

The new CEO, Jae-yeon Lee, majored in marketing at Indiana University in the United States and worked at global companies such as Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson. At Johnson & Johnson, he was in charge of domestic and North Asia marketing from 2008 to 2017, and later served as the head of the Korean branch (president) and the head of Asia strategy at the Asia Pacific headquarters. He joined Royal Canin in August 2022 and was in charge of brand marketing and retail sales. Since March of last year, he has been appointed as an outside director of Amorepacific, and has served as the chairman of the compensation committee and member of the ESG committee.

After new CEO Lee Jae-yeon joined Royal Canin Korea, the company recorded an overwhelming 1st place in the domestic brand value survey conducted by global research firm Matrix Lab. In addition, last year, the company launched the pet companion platform ‘Royal Canin Club’ for brand digital transformation. It is evaluated that it has laid the foundation for future growth by driving growth with an effective e-commerce channel strategy.
