The local deputy Royfid Torresby Citizen Movement (MC), presented a report on the issues addressed during his three years of work during the II Legislature of the Mexico City Congress.
“Reaching Congress and forming part of the orange caucus has been one of the greatest privileges I have had in my life; the challenge was no small one, it was about making a difference, about distinguishing ourselves,” Torres said during his last report on his work.
During the presentation of his actions, the legislator of the MC highlighted the holding of four open parliaments named “Your house my Cause“, “Don’t let the street silence you“, “Safe Mobility“, y “Care is also work“.

He also stated that for him the Third Legislature will be “the Legislature of Care”, as he noted that the movement to which he belongs has generated the most complete and robust proposal to integrate a care system in Mexico City.
Additionally, he highlighted the impetus given to the Ley Maple to ensure that all those involved in caring for animals ensure their well-being and safe return home.
On the other hand, he said that they will continue fighting for mobility, mainly to ensure maintenance of the Mass Transportation System (STC) Metro, which indicated “just as the cars will continue to be orange.”
Finally, he pointed out that the new members of the orange bench, facing the beginning of the III Legislature, are a generation of new faces in politics “who are not afraid, who do not back down, who do not see power only as a self-serving thing and who want to make the impossible possible.”

As part of his speech, Royfid Torres extended a greeting and thanks to Dante Delgado for leading the orange movement that “broke into the political scene and came to this city,” and thanked the presence of Jorge Alvarez Maynez, Solomon Chertorivski, Alejandra Barrales, Juan Zavala e Yvonne Ortega.
