jpnn.com – Royke Lumowa’s mission to cycle from Jakarta to Paris, France was successful.

The man born on September 16 1962 undertook the trip with the theme Cycling to Save The Earth.

“A very impressive journey. The whole journey was very enjoyable, all packed with joy and that was indeed my wish,” said Royke.

During his journey, Royke began his mission by cycling to Paris from Jakarta on (8/7/2023) and arrived in France on Monday (29/7/2024).

The former North Sulawesi Police Chief spent 387 days, crossing 44 countries and covering a distance of 20,620.87 kilometers.

Royke also had to overcome several obstacles ranging from weather to other non-technical factors.

Arriving in Paris, Royke was greeted directly by the President of the French Olympic Committee (NOC), David Lappartient.(mcr16/jpnn)
