Hyundai has launched its all-new Verna in the Indian market. The new 2023 Hyundai Verna model is priced at Rs. 10 Lakh 90 thousand, ex-showroom. The model is available in two different powertrains, four variants and nine color options.
The exterior of the car gets a split headlamp design, LED DRL, front bumper, grille, LED light bar above the bumper, dual tone alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, 2-piece LED tail lights, LED light bar on the boot lid and an all-new rear bumper.
The interior gets electric sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument console, single screen, automatic climate control, level 2 ADAS, Bose music system with 8 speakers. It also has switchable infotainment and climate controller.
The 2023 Hyundai Verna model is available with a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine and a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine options. Among these is the T-GDi unit with the turbo petrol engine. It churns out 158 hp of power and 253 Nm of torque. Its NA petrol engine produces 113 HP of power and 144 Nm of torque.
As far as transmission is concerned, 6 speed manual unit, IVT unit and 7 speed DCT unit are offered. The 1.5 liter diesel motor has been discontinued in the new model. In the Indian market, the new Hyundai Verna competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.
