Rs.28 crore sanctioned for Amru Scheme in Chinnamanur Municipality Dinamalar

Chinnamanur: Rs 28 crore has been sanctioned under the central government’s Amruth scheme for the development of drinking water in Chinnamanur.

– The central government has set a goal of improving drinking water sources, improving infrastructure, and distributing protected drinking water. For this, it has established ‘Jal Jeevan’ scheme in panchayats and Amrut scheme for municipalities. In this, Chinnamanur municipality has been given Rs.110 crores under this scheme by the municipality. After examining it, the government has sanctioned Rs.28 crore.

Accordingly to increase drinking water pumping, additional overhead tanks are constructed. It has already been advised not to change the distribution pipes, pump station, treatment plant etc. in the city for now.
