Rs 48 Crore Sheep Smuggling: Sasikala’s Relative Arrested

Bhaskar, whose name is Bhaskar, hails from Annanagar area of ​​Chennai. He is a businessman and runs a huge furniture showroom in Annanagar area.

He is Sasikala’s brother Jayaraman – the father-in-law of the princess’s son Vivek. The Andhra Pradesh police got tip-off that his showroom was selling furniture made from illegally smuggled sheep logs from Andhra Pradesh.

Based on that, the Andhra Police raided his shop in 2021.

Then the smuggling of sheep was confirmed. Bhaskar was then arrested and imprisoned. He later came out on bail.

In this situation, Bhaskar was brought under the investigation ring of Central Revenue Investigation Division officials. Subsequently, the investigation department officials also conducted a separate search at his house and furniture shop in Anna Nagar in 2021.

At that time, it came to light that 22 kg of sheep logs worth Rs.48 crore were illegally stored in the store godown. It was confiscated by Central Revenue Investigation Division officials.

In this situation, the officials of the Central Revenue Investigation Division again questioned Bhaskar in connection with this case. A search was also conducted at his house in Annanagar, Chennai, yesterday night.

The officials also conducted an investigation at his property in Thiagarayanagar. It is said that documents related to sheep smuggling were caught in this raid which took place at dawn. Based on this, Bhaskar has been arrested by Central Revenue Investigation Division officials.
