Police are searching for two people, including a woman, who allegedly swindled Rs 50 lakh from actor Nagasekara after receiving an advance to sell a house in Bangalore.

Nagasekar is a famous actor and director in the Kannada film world. She has directed many films in Kannada including Myna. He has also acted in many films. At this point he came to know that a house was for sale in Jayanna Lay-out, RR Nagar, Bangalore. Following this, Nagasekar planned to buy the house.
For this he approached Meena, the owner of the house. Meena then said she was going to sell the house for Rs 2.70 crore. Nagasekara also agreed to that. Nagasekar then gave an advance of Rs 50 lakh to Meena to buy a house.
Rs 50 lakh fraud
Actor Nagasekar, who met Meena in person in August last year (2020), prepared and handed over the bonds to buy the house. Nagasekar also tried to get Meena to sign. It was then that Nagasekara came to know that Meena had already sold the house to someone else.
When Nagasekar asked Meena about this, he did not give a correct answer. Meena also refused to repay the advance of Rs 50 lakh. He is also said to have made further threats. Rajkumar also seems to have acted as an accomplice to him.
