Sunil Saket, Agra: In a government that claims zero corruption, no work gets done without bribery. The bribe takers are also dealing in shrouds. In Agra, a helpless laborer father had to pay a bribe of Rs 600 to get his son’s post-mortem done. He did not even have money to take the dead body. He paid the bribe amount by borrowing money from people. Then he found the child’s body. The helpless father kept screaming and shouting in the PM House, but no one listened to his plea. Bharat Singh’s 13-year-old son Ankit, resident of Ardaya village of Achhnera, had gone missing since Sunday evening. The next day on Monday his body was found floating in the river. The police sent Ankit’s body to the post-mortem house. Bharat Singh also reached the post mortem house. After noon his son’s turn to become PM came. The employee present in the PM House told Bharat Singh that if the post-mortem of his son is to be done then he should bring Rs 600. After this I will touch the dead body. Bharat Singh told him about his compulsion that he did not even have money to take the dead body of the child to the village. But the employee had no mercy on him. He said that if you bring money he will become PM.
demanded money
Bharat Singh works as a labourer. He has four children. Ankit was the third son. Bharat Singh asked people to borrow money to become PM. Some people had come with him from the village. He helped Bharat. After paying Rs 600, his son’s post mortem could be done. Whereas he was also complaining about this to the policeman. But the policeman had said to complain to higher authorities. Bharat Singh has said that he will complain to the District Magistrate.
Situation did not improve even after complaining to CM
Mortuary house has been built near the surgery building of SN Medical College. Here the government employees have engaged private people for their setting. The body of the advocate son who committed suicide after killing his mother and son in Lawyers Colony was also embalmed after paying Rs 1500. Complaint about this matter was made to CM Yogi Adityanath, but no hearing took place. In this regard, a call was made twice on the mobile phone of CMO Arun Kumar Srivastava but he did not pick up the call.
