Rublev reached the finals of the ATP tournament in Marseille in singles and doubles

Russian Andrey Rublev and Ukrainian Denis Molchanov reached the final of Open 13 Provence in doubles. They beat Hugo Gaston of France and Holger Rune of Denmark 7:5, 6:7 (4:7), 10:5. Rublev will also play in the final of the ATP tournament in singles.

Rublev and Molchanov will face Matwe Middelkop from the Netherlands and Andreas Mies from Germany in the final of the tournament. In the final of the single tournament, the Russian will play with the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, who beat another Russian, Roman Safiullin, in the 1/2 finals.

Open 13 Provence is an Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament. It takes place in Marseille on hard floors. The prize fund exceeds €545,000. The current winner of the tournament is Russian Daniil Medvedev.

24-year-old Andrei Rublev is ranked seventh in the ATP rankings in singles and 72nd in doubles. He is the 2020 Olympic champion in the mixed doubles, the winner of ten ATP tournaments (eight in singles), as well as the Davis Cup and the ATP Cup as part of the Russian team.
