Rublev wins; Murray Discharge- Dinamani

Russia’s Andrey Rublev advanced to the 2nd round of the Paris Masters Men’s Tennis Tournament while England’s Andy Murray lost in the first round.

Rublev, who is ranked 7th in the tournament, defeated American John Isner in the first round with 6-2, 6-3 sets. Murray, on the other hand, lost to France’s Gilles Simon in 6-4, 5-7, 3-6 sets.

10th-ranked Poland’s Hubert Hogcox defeated France’s Adrien Mannarino 7-6 (7/5), 6-4, while 14th-ranked Spain’s Pablo Carreno beat compatriot Albert Ramos Vinolas 6-3, 6-3 in no sets.

France’s Carentin Maudet, England’s Jack Trapp, Dane Evans, Australia’s Alex de Minar also qualified for the 2nd round after winning other matches in the first round.
