Various world records are created focusing on body composition. Boys and girls also join in it. Ruby Labushevsky, a 10-year-old girl, holds the world record for having the biggest feet at a young age. This girl lives in the city of Jonesville in the North Carolina region of the United States and is studying in the 4th grade in the school there.
Kid’s World Records, an organization that recognizes the achievements of children between the ages of 4 and 16, has added a certificate and award to Ruby Lapuszewski.
Ruby got this recognition in the 7 to 9 years category. Ruby’s feet were 10.5 inches long when measured to submit the record. That makes him one of the longest legs in the world in his age group. However recently Ruby turned 10 years old. Within months of being recognized as the long-legged record holder, he was dropped from the under-9 record list.
However, Ruby remains the record holder as no other person with long legs has applied for the record under that age. The current record holder in the 10 age category wears a size 10.5 shoe. But Ruby’s shoes are size 11. So he says with confidence that he will get a place in this achievement category as well.
“Until now, she was teased by many people because of her long legs. Now many are looking at her feet in wonder. Recognized as an accomplished girl. Girls with bigger feet than my daughter may live in some part of the world. But my daughter is seen as an achiever because no one applied. According to Kids World Records, Ruby’s legs are the largest in the world for both gender and age. She’s proud of it,” says Ruby’s mother, Hannah Matheny.
“Ruby’s father wears number 13 shoes. I wear size 11 shoes. Ruby chooses shoes to compete with both of us. But she finds it difficult to find suitable shoes.”
