But Gilles, who protected Tania with his Talisman, changed the situation at the last minute, leading inevitably to Rudy’s dismissal.
04/04/23 – 23:00 – How long does advice really last?
Koh Lanta’s advice is one of the highlights of the TF1 show. And if they last a few minutes at the end of the episode, during filming, they can last between 1h30 and 2h. In a video posted on Instagram, Denis Brogniart said more about the advice. Be aware that the place of vote and the place where the adventurers are seated are several hundred meters away, so that they cannot hear the justifications of vote. Once the council is over, the candidates also do not return directly to the camp to avoid night trips.
04/04/23 – 10:31 p.m. – Clémence experienced a terrible family drama
Clémence also experienced a real family drama before participating in Koh Lanta. In August 2012, her older sister, pregnant and already the mother of a little girl, was murdered in her home in the middle of the night, shot with a shotgun. A man, who has always claimed his innocence, was sentenced on appeal to 25 years in prison. “It’s something quite heavy to bear,” said the candidate to TV Mag at the launch of the program. “I tried to always be there for my parents and my other sister, to make sure they didn’t go through all of this on their own.”
04/04/23 – 22:00 – Quentin was close to death twice
If Quentin is evolving as a leading candidate for this 2023 season of Koh Lanta, he has not had an easy life either. This 26-year-old carpenter and father has twice been close to death. He notably had a motorcycle accident in October 2013 and came out of it with seven broken ribs, head trauma and pieces of ribs in his lungs. He was placed in an artificial coma as long as his vital prognosis was engaged. In 2020, Quentin was the victim of an attack in the street, when a man “planted a box cutter” in him, without him knowing why. A true “survivor” as he says himself who intends to win Koh Lanta.
04/04/23 – 9:39 p.m. – Footballer Julie in a relationship with an ex-teammate
Among the candidates still competing in Koh Lanta, there is Julie Debever, a professional footballer. This defender was one of the players selected for the France team during the 2019 World Cup, without having played. The celebrity press also tells us that she is currently in a relationship with one of her former teammates, Regina Baresi. This Italian who was able to play as an attacker at Inter Milan is also the niece of Franco Baresi, star of Italian football and AC Milan.

Martin was forced to retire on medical decision last week in Koh Lanta. The Swiss cheese maker sprained his ankle with a torn ligament, but only learned of his departure from the adventure when Denis Brogniart announced it to the other candidates. “”I might have preferred to go out with an extinguished torch. I have the feeling of having lived a wasted adventure”, confided the 30-year-old candidate to 20 minutes.
04/04/23 – 20:07 – Christine has “not slept for 18 days”
Eliminated from Koh Lanta last week, Christine made revelations about her physical condition during the adventure. The 49-year-old candidate thus explained to Le Parisien that she had “not slept at all, or so five minutes in 18 days” on the island. She confides, however, that she had “no decline, neither physical nor moral”. However, the return was more complicated to manage for the Girondine: “When I came back, I suffered the blow, I had a blues stroke, I started crying without knowing why.”
04/04/23 – 7:36 pm – Libido, hygiene… Behind the scenes of the show unveiled
Only the candidates and the production know (really) what is happening on the Koh Lanta camp. On Instagram in mid-March, Helena made revelations behind the scenes of the TF1 game. She thus revealed that there were no toilets on the camp, that the production provided sanitary protection to the candidates, and that there had been no rapprochements between candidates: “no libido!” she said, confirming the words of former candidates who assured that what took precedence over the camp was survival.
04/04/23 – 7:03 pm – Christine criticizes the Yellows after their elimination from Koh Lanta
Christine is the last candidate to have left Koh Lanta, eliminated at the end of the council of episode 6 last Tuesday. The former red lamented the impossibility of integrating with the Yellows in an interview with Le Parisien: “They had put up barriers everywhere, everything was locked”. In addition, she revealed that she knew perfectly well that she would be eliminated at the end of this episode. “Even if the advice had not been immediate, it would not have changed the situation. I would not even have tried to rally an ex-yellow, because they were too close.

Martin was forced to retire in the last episode of Koh Lanta. It is the last eliminated who therefore returned to the adventure and took his place. Rudy is therefore back with the Yellows. And the self-proclaimed “strategist” promises to sow discord and confusion among his opponents, as we could see in the trailer for Koh Lanta episode 7.
04/04/23 – 6:04 p.m. – Second abandonment in this 2023 season of Koh Lanta
This season of Koh Lanta is marked by several abandonments. First, that of Benjamin two weeks ago, who, suffering from an ear infection, found himself at the end of his physical and mental strength, he wished to leave the adventure. In the last episode, Martin injured his ankle. No longer able to participate in the tests, he was forced to retire on medical decision.

A candidate unfortunately has to leave Koh Lanta every week. During the last episode broadcast on TF1 last week, Christine paid the price for the game of alliances and was forced to leave the adventure. The latter underwent counseling which took place directly after the immunity test, without the possibility of playing strategies. The other candidates thus reproached him for his propensity to criticize and his membership of the former Reds.

Koh-Lanta is an adventure game broadcast since 2001 on TF1. It was presented by Hubert Auriol for the first season. Since 2002, Denis Brogniart has been in charge of hosting the program. Several adventurers try to survive on a deserted island until the finale. In this entertainment of survival and strategy, several tests punctuate each episode, and a candidate is eliminated by the other participants, until there are only five left. The latter then decide on two emblematic tests: the orientation and the posts, before the final vote. Since its inception, the game has seen many rule changes.

The 2023 season of Koh Lanta, entitled Le Feu Sacré, arrived on TF1 on Tuesday February 21, 2023. All episodes of the season are broadcast on Tuesday evenings on the front page, from 9:10 p.m. The chain made a change of box for Koh Lanta from Friday to Tuesday and seems happy with the audiences generated.
They will be 20 candidates, aged 22 to 56, to participate in Koh Lanta: The Sacred Fire. Their identities were revealed when the broadcast date was announced on January 31. It was on the evening of June 21, 2022 that TF1 broadcast the grand finale of Koh Lanta, the cursed totem. After 39 days of survival in the Philippines, it was Bastien and François who were chosen by the final jury as the big winners of the season. The two candidates supplanted Géraldine with 4 votes each against 3.
Koh-Lanta is a TF1 program broadcast twice each year on the first channel: a first season is broadcast in the spring, a second at the end of the summer. Each episode is available on television but also live on the MyTF1 site via tablet, computer or smartphone. The show is available for replay the next day on the MyTF1 site for a period of 7 days. Note that the replays are posted on the Salto platform for an indefinite period, which allows the most avid fans to see or re-watch the entire season.
