It’s a consolation prize for Gabrielle Vernier. After a Six Nations Tournament concluded in second place behind the English, the center of the France team received the trophy for best player in the competition. It was Audrey Forlani, his club teammate (Blagnac) and selection, who presented him with the distinction.

The center is the only tricolor to have played all five matches of the competition. She scored five tries, only England’s Marlie Packer (7) and Abbie Dow (6) scored more.
Gabrielle Vernier is also in the standard team of the Tournament, alongside two other Bleues, center Marine Ménager and scrum half Pauline Bourdon.
