Rugby: Mohamed Haouas sentenced to 9 months in prison for “aggravated violence” in 2014

A new conviction for Modamed Haouas. A few weeks after being sentenced to a year in prison for beating his wife, the French rugby international was again sentenced by the courts to nine months in prison. This time, it is for acts of “aggravated violence” dating back to January 1, 2014, in Montpellier, after an altercation which degenerated in a bakery in the early morning. He had also already been sentenced to 18 months suspended prison sentence and 10,000 euros fine for having participated in burglaries of tobacco shops between February and April 2014.
