The best players in the world are coming to Île-de-France! Ireland, France, South Africa and New Zealand, the 4 best nations in the world, will play their quarter-final this weekend at the Stade de France: Ireland – New Zealand on Saturday and France – Africa South Sunday. The 4 teams will arrive this Monday at their new base camp, closer to the Saint-Denis enclosure.

We already knew that France was going to return to Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine), where it had prepared for the start of the competition. We now know where their opponents will be.

The South Africans will leave Toulon to join Croissy-sur-Seine (Yvelines). They will return to the base camp of Tonga, eliminated, and will train at the Croissy sports stadium.

Ireland, impressive since the start of the World Cup, will leave Tours to settle in Domont (Val-d’Oise). The Greens will train at the Fauvettes stadium to prepare for their clash against the All Blacks.

New Zealanders who will stay at INSEP, in the Bois de Vincennes (Paris 12th). The Blacks were until now in Lyon. However, they had already tested the INSEP training ground on the eve of the opening match lost against France on September 8 (27-13).

No training sessions open to the public are currently planned to see these teams before the weekend’s matches. Autograph hunters will have to watch for players around their hotels and training stadiums.

The English in Aix-en-Provence

For the other four quarter-finalists, head to the South. Wales-Argentina and England-Fiji will play each other on Saturday and Sunday at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille.

The English will leave Le Touquet (Pas-de-Calais) to go down to Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône), to the Renaissance hotel where the XV of France stayed at the end of September.

The Welsh, for their part, will settle in Toulon (where the South Africans had taken up residence). They therefore leave Versailles (Yvelines) where they have been since the beginning of September. Last qualified this Sunday, the Argentinians will settle in Berre-l’Étang and the Fijians in Marseille itself.
