If New Zealand loses this Saturday (9 p.m.) in the final of the Rugby World Cup against South Africa, could we speak of a “curse” from Rueil-Malmaison?

Like France then Argentina, respectively eliminated in the quarterfinals (28-29) by South Africa and in the semi-final by the New Zealanders (6-44), the All-Blacks will invest this week in the camp of base of the commune of Hauts-de-Seine (92).

A new change for Ian Foster and his men, who will have experienced a different base at each stage of the final phase after Insep (Paris XIII) for the quarter against Ireland and Croissy (Yvelines) for the half. The All Blacks will train at the Stade du Parc de Rueil (avenue Napoléon Bonaparte).

For their part, the Springboks will experience a little more stability since they will stay at Domont (Val-d’Oise), the base camp they had invested in for the semi-final and left vacant by the Irish.

Before that, the South Africans had started the competition in Toulon before preparing for their quarter-final, against the Blues, in Croissy. After their training at the Stade des Fauvettes (rue de Paris), the Springboks will stay in Presles, a neighboring town in Val d’Oise.
